SHOP CASE KNIVESThe Boker History Knife & Tool Tri Blade Dagger, also known as the Sleeve Dagger or Nail Dagger, is a historically accurate reproduction of the covert weapon developed by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II. This thrusting weapon was designed for undercover operations, featuring a low-profile, one-piece construction that allowed for discreet carrying and use. Crafted from a single piece of cylindrical steel, this dagger's simple, nail-like design includes a triangular ground blade, making it ideal for thrusting.
The Boker Tri Blade Dagger is made from high-quality bearing steel GCr15 with a 1% carbon content, ensuring exceptional hardness and durability. The dark acid wash finish gives the dagger an antique appearance, enhancing its historical authenticity. Each of the three sides of the blade is sharpened and features a hollow groove, providing a balance of strength and weight. The handle is intricately designed with checkering and four circumferential grooves to improve grip, ensuring a secure hold even in challenging conditions.
The handle of the dagger ends in a mushroom-shaped knob with a deep notch for optional attachment of a leather sling. This design element was crucial for the original SOE daggers, allowing for quick access and secure handling. The knob's diameter is slightly wider than the handle, providing additional leverage and control. This attention to detail makes the Boker Tri Blade Dagger a reliable tool for reenactors, collectors, and enthusiasts of historical weaponry.
The Boker History Knife & Tool Tri Blade Dagger comes with a brown leather sheath, faithfully replicating the original design used by SOE operatives. The sheath features two slits to accommodate a leather strap, allowing the dagger to be concealed under clothing on the forearm or leg. The included long leather strap with a pin buckle ensures that the dagger can be securely and comfortably carried, mirroring the figure-of-eight wrapping technique used during the war.
At 7.83 inches overall and weighing 4.62 ounces, the Boker Tri Blade Dagger is compact and lightweight, yet formidable. Its historical significance, combined with Boker's renowned craftsmanship, makes it a unique and valuable addition to any collection. This dagger is not just a weapon but a piece of history, embodying the ingenuity and resilience of the covert operatives who relied on it. Order yours from SMKW!
