SHOP CASE KNIVESThe Case XX Custom Brian Yellowhorse Butterfly Trapper White Turquoise Limited Edition stands as a striking blend of traditional American pocketknife craftsmanship and bold Southwestern artistry. Built on the classic Trapper pattern, this knife carries a familiar silhouette that generations have trusted, elevated by custom materials and hand-finished detail that set it apart from standard production pieces. It’s a knife made for collectors who value heritage, rarity, and visual impact just as much as everyday capability.
Both the clip point and spey blades are forged from mirror polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel, delivering excellent corrosion resistance, dependable edge retention, and a clean, reflective finish that highlights Case XX’s legendary heat treatment. Nail nicks on each blade preserve the time-tested slipjoint experience, offering smooth, deliberate opening that feels right at home in a traditional pocketknife. At 4.13 inches closed and weighing 4 ounces, this Trapper carries substantial presence without feeling bulky, striking a balance between usability and refinement.
The handle is where this knife truly commands attention. White Turquoise is a rare and highly sought-after natural stone prized for its pale, almost porcelain base accented by subtle gray and tan veining. Unlike vivid blue turquoise, white turquoise offers a softer, more refined appearance that emphasizes texture and natural variation. Each piece is unique, giving every knife its own character while reflecting light with a depth and elegance that synthetic materials simply can’t replicate. Brass pins and liners provide warm contrast, while nickel silver bolsters and an inlaid nickel silver shield complete the build with classic strength and polish.
Designed and handmade by renowned custom knifemaker Brian Yellowhorse, this limited edition Trapper reflects his signature fusion of Native American–inspired design and meticulous craftsmanship. Proudly made in the USA, it represents a collaboration rooted in tradition, artistry, and authenticity.
