SHOP CASE KNIVESThe Case XX Pacific Tides Kirinite Trapper is a full-size folder built for everyday use with a style that reflects the raw motion of the sea. This traditional two-blade design features a clip point and a spey blade—both crafted from mirror polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel. With strong edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance, these blades are ready to handle everything from simple utility tasks to finer, more detailed cuts. Classic nail nicks make opening smooth and precise, while the polished finish adds a touch of refinement to a rugged tool.
Its standout handle is made from Case’s signature Pacific Tides Kirinite—a durable synthetic material swirled with vivid blue, deep black, and crisp white. It captures the feel of crashing waves and shifting tides, all frozen in motion. Kirinite isn’t just visually striking; it’s built tough and resists cracking, chipping, or warping over time. Brass pins and liners offer strength and stability, while nickel silver bolsters provide a clean finish and a comfortable grip. The iconic Case XX block bowtie shield is inlaid on the front, a proud symbol of American craftsmanship.
At 4.13" closed and weighing 4 ounces, this Trapper offers solid in-hand feel without being too bulky for daily carry. It’s a working blade with collector-level looks—ready for the field, the shop, or the showcase.
Set against the backdrop of the Smoky Mountains, Smoky Mountain Knife Works draws over 1.5 million visitors a year to its legendary Tennessee showroom—the largest knife store on the planet.
