The Northern Scalpel features a 1.9-inch drop point blade crafted from AEB-L stainless steel with a clean satin finish. AEB-L is widely respected for its fine grain structure, excellent edge stability, and ability to take a razor-sharp edge while remaining easy to maintain. The drop point profile provides a strong, controllable tip and useful slicing belly, making it ideal for precision tasks, light outdoor work, and everyday cutting duties.

Full tang construction gives the knife strength and balance while keeping the overall weight extremely low.
