SHOP CASE KNIVESThe Microtech L.U.D.T. (Large Underwater Demolition Team) automatic knife has long been trusted for its strength, speed, and uncompromising build quality. This Gen III version takes that proven platform and refines it with performance-driven upgrades designed for serious everyday use.
The 3.42" tanto blade is crafted from Microtech’s proprietary Böhler M390MK steel. Developed in collaboration with engineers at Böhler, M390MK advances the already respected M390 formula with enhanced edge retention and improved corrosion resistance. The tanto profile delivers reinforced tip strength and decisive piercing capability, while the black coated finish adds durability and a low-profile tactical look that stands up to hard use.
This out-the-side automatic fires with authority at the press of a button. Microtech’s upgraded Dual Fuel Drive system ensures lightning-fast deployment with smooth, consistent action. Once open, the blade locks securely in place, ready for demanding tasks.
The anodized orange 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum handle offers lightweight strength and high visibility without sacrificing durability. Black coated hardware complements the blade finish, creating a cohesive, purpose-built aesthetic. The stainless steel pocket clip features a ceramic thumb ball designed to reduce pocket wear and extend carry life. Krud Kutter grooves on the thumb slide help prevent lint buildup, keeping operation reliable over time. Upgraded Torx hardware further enhances long-term durability. A lanyard hole rounds out the design for additional carry options. Measuring 4.62" closed and weighing 3.4 ounces, the L.U.D.T. balances solid feel with comfortable pocket carry.
Proudly made in the USA, it reflects Microtech’s commitment to precision manufacturing and real-world performance.
