SHOP CASE KNIVESThe Microtech Mini Hera II blends precision engineering with bold styling in a compact out-the-front automatic built for dependable everyday performance. Streamlined and lightweight, it carries easily while delivering the strength and reliability serious users expect.
At its core is a 2.88" recurve blade crafted from Microtech’s proprietary Böhler M390MK steel. Developed in collaboration with engineers at Böhler, M390MK was designed to push beyond traditional M390 by enhancing edge retention and improving corrosion resistance. The recurve profile increases slicing efficiency, drawing material into the cutting edge for clean, controlled cuts. Finished in rugged stonewash, the blade maintains a working look that helps conceal wear from real-world use.
This is a dual action out-the-front automatic operated by a thumb slide that deploys and retracts the blade with smooth, decisive action. The mechanism locks open with confidence, reflecting Microtech’s reputation for tight tolerances and consistent performance. Built with precision-machined internal components, it’s engineered to function reliably under pressure.
The handle is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a deep red Spilled Merlot anodizing that gives the knife a distinctive, commanding presence. The anodized surface enhances durability and corrosion resistance while maintaining a lightweight feel. An ambidextrous stainless steel pocket clip secures the knife for tip-down carry and incorporates a glass breaker for emergency situations. A lanyard hole adds another carry option. Measuring 4.02" closed and weighing just 2.05 ounces, the Mini Hera II offers substantial cutting capability in a compact, highly pocketable form.
Proudly made in the USA, it stands as a testament to American craftsmanship and Microtech’s uncompromising standards.
