SHOP CASE KNIVESThe Microtech MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) Mini delivers compact performance with the unmistakable attitude and engineering the brand is known for. Built for serious everyday carry, this hardworking folder combines premium materials, modern locking technology, and a rugged finish that looks as tough as the knife performs.
At the center is a 3.25-inch sheepsfoot blade crafted from M30MK premium steel and finished with Microtech’s distinctive one-of-a-kind Apocalyptic finish. The rugged surface treatment gives the blade a battle-worn appearance while helping disguise wear from real-world use. The sheepsfoot profile offers excellent control for slicing, utility work, and precision cuts, making it a practical blade shape for daily tasks.
Deployment is fast and intuitive thanks to Microtech’s RAM-LOK crossbar opening and locking system. This spring-assisted mechanism allows the blade to snap open with a quick press and flick of the wrist while providing a strong, dependable lockup during use. The ambidextrous design makes operation comfortable for both left- and right-handed users.
The handles are built from durable black anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and feature an aggressive frag-pattern texture that improves grip without adding unnecessary bulk. Stainless steel Torx hardware reinforces the construction, while an ambidextrous stainless steel pocket clip keeps the knife secure and easily accessible. An oversized lanyard hole adds even more carry versatility for those who like to customize their gear.
Measuring 4.25 inches closed and weighing just 3.4 ounces, the MSI Mini offers excellent balance between portability and capability. It’s compact enough for comfortable daily carry yet built with the durability Microtech knives are known for. Like all Microtech knives, it’s proudly made in the USA with exacting attention to detail.
