At its core is a 3.03-inch blade crafted from Swedish stainless steel (12C27) produced by Alleima. Heat-treated, cryo-treated, and hardened to a nominal 56.5 HRC, the blade is built for reliable edge retention while remaining easy to maintain in the field. The Scandi grind with a profile-ground edge and a 22–24° total grind angle gives it excellent bite in wood, making it especially effective for carving, fire prep, and controlled cutting tasks. A 37–39° edge angle supports precision work without sacrificing strength, and the ground spine is fully compatible with a ferro rod, adding fire-starting capability when it matters most.
