High quality, extremely collectible handmade knives since the 1800s.
SHOP CASE KNIVESNamed after the stout and dependable dwarf from The Hobbit, the Bömbur lives up to its name with brute strength and relentless reliability. Built like a tank, this folding knife is made to handle demanding tasks without flinching. With its overbuilt construction, beefy frame, and stonewashed D2 steel blade, the Bömbur is ready for work, whether you're out in the field, in the shop, or prepping for survival scenarios.
The 3.53" drop point blade features a long, flat cutting edge with a generous belly for slicing. Made from 0.196" thick D2 tool steel, the blade has a rugged stonewashed finish and a flat grind that balances edge durability with cutting efficiency. A fuller and triangular deployment hole add functional flair, offering smooth one-handed opening and eye-catching style. Functional jimping along the spine provides added control without tearing up your thumb.
The handle is sculpted for comfort, with dual curves that let your fingers lock in naturally for maximum grip and control. Blue Micarta scales offer a tactile, grippy surface that performs well in wet or dry conditions. A full titanium backspacer gives the knife extra stability and a rock-solid in-hand feel. The liner lock ensures firm, reliable blade lockup with no play, even under heavy pressure.
Crafted by Midgard Messer, a German designer known for fusing Norse mythology with modern engineering, the Bömbur is built with precision and purpose. It's not just a knife—it’s a heavy-duty tool that brings artistic design and brute strength into perfect alignment.
