SHOP CASE KNIVESThe TOPS X16 Ginunting is a formidable fixed blade rooted in Filipino martial heritage and designed with modern tactical performance in mind. Inspired by traditional Filipino blades once used in both agriculture and combat, the Ginunting has earned a legendary place in martial arts circles for its curved, slicing power and devastating control. TOPS has taken that time-tested form and elevated it with battle-ready materials and a refined fit and finish that holds nothing back.
At the core of the X16 is a sweeping 15.75-inch hawkbill-style blade made from 1095 carbon steel, a proven workhorse in the field. The blade's aggressive curvature and broad belly deliver superior chopping, slicing, and draw-cutting capabilities, making it just as viable for survival and brush-clearing as it is for combative applications. The black traction coating adds corrosion resistance and a non-reflective finish, essential for stealth and durability in rough environments.
The handle is crafted from layered black and white linen micarta, shaped for a solid grip even in adverse conditions. Its full tang construction delivers uncompromising strength, and the textured micarta scales offer excellent ergonomics whether you're wearing gloves or working barehanded. This knife feels natural in the hand, ready to react with power and precision. Designed by Adam Boyce.
Measuring 23 inches overall and weighing 34.4 ounces, the Ginunting is a large and commanding presence. Yet thanks to its balance and grip geometry, it remains surprisingly maneuverable. A custom-fit black Kydex sheath with a dangler attachment ensures comfortable carry and quick access, whether you're moving through dense jungle or gearing up for serious training.
The TOPS X16 Ginunting is more than a blade—it’s a tool of tradition, toughness, and tactical purpose, designed for those who respect the roots of combat and require unshakable performance in the field. Order yours today from SMKW!
