Measuring 8.5 inches overall, the Fox River features a 4-inch drop point blade made from satin-finished A2 tool steel. Known for its toughness and edge retention, A2 steel stands up to rigorous outdoor tasks, whether you’re field dressing game, preparing kindling, or handling general utility duties. The drop point profile offers a versatile cutting geometry, giving you a strong tip for piercing tasks while providing ample belly for slicing and controlled cuts. Its satin finish not only adds a subtle, refined appearance but also makes maintenance easier and allows you to spot wear or nicks quickly.
The handle is crafted from green canvas micarta, a material prized for its strength, durability, and exceptional grip. It’s resistant to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and everyday wear, ensuring a secure hold even in wet or cold conditions. The handle also includes a lanyard hole, giving you options for carry, retention, or personal customization. The knife’s full, extended tang construction adds structural integrity, giving you confidence in every swing, thrust, or controlled cut.
Carrying and protecting the Fox River is a custom brown leather belt sheath. Handcrafted to fit the knife snugly, the sheath provides a reliable, accessible carry solution. Its belt loop allows for secure attachment to your gear, while the leather naturally molds over time to fit the knife perfectly, ensuring both convenience and longevity. The knife ships boxed, making it ideal for gifting or safe storage.
Weighing just over half a pound, this knife strikes a balance between portability and robust construction. The Fox River is part of Bark River’s Spotlight series, which highlights items without sales restrictions and new additions, allowing collectors and outdoor enthusiasts to acquire quality tools without compromise.
