Barnes VOR-TX Safari 375 H&H Magnum Rifle Ammunition 20 Rounds Brass Centerfire 300 Grain Banded Solid 22015

The Barnes VOR-TX Safari .375 H&H Magnum 300-grain Banded Solid load is a premium, maximum-performance centerfire cartridge engineered for dangerous game hunting. The absolute worst-case scenario when facing thick-skinned, heavy-boned game is bullet deformation or fragmentation. If a traditional jacketed lead bullet shatters upon hitting massive skeletal structures, it loses its driving force and veers off course, risking a catastrophic failure. Barnes eliminates this hazard by utilizing a monolithic copper-alloy solid projectile. Built to never expand, this round is designed to smash through heavy bone and track in a perfectly straight line through critical anatomy.

The technical advantage focuses on premium material science and strict chamber pressure control. Because this projectile is machined from a single piece of homogeneous copper alloy, there are no jackets to separate or lead cores to fail. To overcome the high bore friction typically associated with solid copper projectiles, Barnes cuts circumferential relief grooves into the body of the bullet. These bands drastically reduce the engraving force needed to push the bullet down the barrel, yielding stable chamber pressures, reducing barrel wear, and preserving every ounce of downrange velocity.

Slinging its heavy 300-grain payload at a stout 2,560 FPS, this cartridge leverages an optimized profile that prevents deflection when slicing through thick hide and dense muscle. A massive tactical advantage of this Safari load is that it is weight- and trajectory-matched to the Barnes 300-grain TSX expanding ammunition. This allows you to mix solids and expanding rounds in the same magazine without altering your rifle's point of impact. Premium reloadable brass cases and temperature-stable propellants ensure absolute reliability, crisp ignition, and smooth extraction when taking critical shots under extreme stress.

Key Benefits

• Monolithic Copper-Alloy Solid: Machined from solid copper-alloy to prevent expansion and fragmentation, ensuring maximum straight-line penetration through massive bone structures.
• Circumferential Relief Grooves: Patented drive bands reduce projectile surface area, lowering bore friction and stabilizing chamber pressures for smooth performance.
• Perfect Trajectory Matching: Weight- and flight-matched to Barnes 300gr TSX expanding loads, allowing mixed magazine setups without shifting your zero or point of impact.
• Premium Safari Reliability: Built with high-grade components and clean propellants to ensure uniform velocities and flawless extraction in dangerous game scenarios.
