Derek “Beans” Beans started the company out of a background in mechanical and electrical work, channeling that technical mindset into building precision EDC gear. What began with custom fixed blades, multi-tools, and twist pens has grown into a recognized name in the knife world. By 2023, Beans Blades expanded into folding knives, introducing a distinctive tanto design inspired by their Warrior fixed blade, while continuing to refine and evolve their fixed blade lineup. Today, Beans Blades continues to grow its presence across major knife shows including Blade Show Texas, Atlanta, and Utah, along with events like 50/50 Productions Nashville, NYCKS, and various pop-up shows announced through their social channels.
