The Bestechman Cicada’s Wing Top Liner Lock Folder in OD green G-10 with gold PVD blade finish brings a bold, modern contrast to a compact everyday carry platform built for dependable use. It’s a knife that blends practical cutting performance with a striking color combination that stands out immediately in any collection or rotation.
At the center is a 3.15-inch blade made from 10Cr15CoMoV stainless steel, a proven alloy known for its solid edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. The blade is finished in a gold PVD coating that enhances surface durability while delivering a reflective, high-impact appearance. That gold tone adds a premium visual element while also helping protect the blade from wear during regular use. At 0.09 inches thick, the blade maintains a slim, efficient profile that’s well-suited for controlled slicing, utility tasks, and everyday cutting needs.
The top liner lock system provides secure blade engagement with smooth, consistent operation. It locks up firmly during use, giving confidence in performance, while still allowing controlled closure when the task is complete. The mechanism is designed to be straightforward and reliable, focusing on dependable function rather than unnecessary complexity.
The handle is built from OD green G-10, a material valued for its strength, moisture resistance, and long-term durability. The textured surface offers a secure grip in a variety of conditions, while the ergonomic shaping ensures comfort and control during extended use. The OD green tone brings a classic, utilitarian look that contrasts sharply with the gold PVD blade, creating a distinctive balance between tactical influence and modern styling.
Measuring 7.20 inches overall with a closed length of 4.06 inches, this folder is designed for easy pocket carry without sacrificing usability. It carries comfortably throughout the day while still offering enough blade length and handle control to handle a wide range of everyday cutting tasks.
This design stands out by combining a functional, compact platform with a bold color pairing that’s hard to ignore. It’s built to perform consistently while offering a visual presence that elevates it beyond a standard utility folder.
A cutting edge dressed in gold for a look that’s anything but ordinary, available at SMKW.
