The Frost Black Hills Green Smooth Bone Trapper Folding Pocket Knife blends classic craftsmanship with practical functionality in a compact, elegant package. Designed by Blackhills Steel, a trusted line from Frost Cutlery, this knife combines traditional aesthetics with dependable materials for everyday carry, collection, or outdoor use. Its Trapper configuration features two stainless steel blades—a clip point and a spey blade—offering versatility for a variety of tasks, from general cutting to detailed work. Measuring 4¼ inches closed, it provides a comfortable grip without sacrificing portability, making it a reliable tool that fits easily in your pocket.
The handle is crafted from green smooth bone, giving each knife a unique and natural appearance. Subtle variations in the bone’s color and texture ensure that no two knives are exactly alike, offering a one-of-a-kind aesthetic for collectors and users alike. The handle is reinforced with nickel silver bolsters and brass pins, providing structural integrity, durability, and a touch of classic elegance. This combination of materials ensures a secure grip, even during extended use, while highlighting the knife’s refined, traditional design. The handle features a distinctive cross inlay on the handle, adding classic style to its rugged design.
The stainless steel blades are mirror-polished to resist corrosion and maintain a sharp edge. The Trapper layout allows for multiple cutting options: the clip point blade handles general utility work, while the spey blade excels at precise tasks. Both blades deploy smoothly using a match strike thumbnail pull, offering controlled, manual opening that preserves the traditional folding knife experience without relying on modern assisted mechanisms. This gives the user full control over deployment and adds to the knife’s timeless appeal.
Every aspect of the Frost Black Hills Green Smooth Bone Trapper demonstrates a focus on both form and function. Its compact size, dual blades, and premium materials make it versatile for a variety of everyday and outdoor applications. Whether you’re a collector seeking a distinctive addition, an outdoorsman needing a reliable folder, or someone who appreciates classic knife craftsmanship, this Trapper delivers performance, durability, and style in equal measure.
