The Blackhawk Hornet II Sideliner was born from the brand’s unwavering commitment to creating tools that thrive under pressure. Building on the proven design of the original Hornet, this refined model delivers improved performance, upgraded materials, and ergonomic enhancements to meet the needs of modern tactical professionals. Designed for speed, strength, and adaptability, it’s the kind of knife that can be a discreet companion during daily tasks or a reliable asset when situations escalate.
At its core, the Hornet II Sideliner features a 3.5-inch partially serrated clip point blade crafted from premium D2 tool steel—a steel prized for its impressive edge retention and exceptional toughness. The black blade coating enhances corrosion resistance while reducing glare, ensuring readiness whether you’re in the field, on duty, or in a survival scenario. The partially serrated edge increases versatility, giving you the ability to cut cleanly through rope, webbing, and tougher materials while still offering a sharp point for precision work.
Deployment is fast and intuitive, thanks to the integrated flipper tab that allows for smooth, one-handed opening. Once in position, the blade locks securely in place with a robust linerlock mechanism, giving you confidence in every cut. The Hornet II isn’t just about strength—it’s built for comfort and control. The handle is fitted with textured black G-10 scales, delivering a secure, slip-resistant grip even in wet or gloved conditions.
Portability and flexibility are key. Weighing only 4.8 ounces and folding down to a compact 4.65 inches, the Hornet II Sideliner is easy to carry without weighing you down. Its 4-way fully reversible pocket clip allows for tip-up or tip-down carry, left- or right-hand orientation, so you can customize it to your exact preference. This adaptability makes it as at home in your pocket as it is in your gear bag.
When performance, durability, and readiness are non-negotiable, the Blackhawk Hornet II Sideliner delivers. It’s a folding knife that blends tactical precision with everyday practicality—ready to perform whenever you are.
