The Buck 797 Range Ops Elite Folding Knife is built for hard use, dependable carry, and the demands of life outdoors. Made in the USA, this rugged folder combines a tough black nylon handle with a cerakote black MagnaCut reverse tanto blade, creating a modern working knife with the strength and versatility to handle whatever the day puts in front of you.
The 3.375-inch reverse tanto blade is crafted from premium MagnaCut steel and measures 0.09 inches thick. MagnaCut is known for its balanced combination of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it an excellent choice for an everyday-use knife that's expected to perform. The reverse tanto profile adds a strong, reinforced point and a useful straight-edged cutting section, giving the blade plenty of capability for controlled cuts, utility work, and outdoor tasks.
The black finish throughout gives the Range Ops Elite a subdued, purpose-built appearance. Its black nylon handle provides a durable, lightweight grip that's ready for hard use without adding unnecessary bulk. At 7.875 inches overall, the knife provides a substantial working profile while maintaining a manageable 3.6-ounce weight for comfortable everyday carry.
A deep pocket carry setup keeps the Range Ops Elite riding securely and discreetly in your pocket. The reversible pocket clip adds another layer of versatility, allowing you to configure your carry to suit your preferred side. Whether you're heading into the field, working around camp, or carrying a dependable folder for everyday chores, this adaptable setup makes it easy to keep the knife close at hand.
The Range Ops Elite is designed with practical performance in mind, but it's also backed by the heritage of one of America's best-known knife makers. Buck's commitment to building dependable knives in the USA is evident in this model, giving it the kind of construction and attention to detail that serious users can appreciate.
Backed by Buck's Forever Warranty, the 797 Range Ops Elite is made to be carried and put to work. Its premium MagnaCut blade, rugged nylon handle, deep-carry capability, and reversible clip make it a capable choice for users who don't want their everyday knife sitting on the sidelines.
