The Cold Steel Sure Balance Thrower is a heavyweight, professional-grade throwing knife designed for serious enthusiasts. At 13.375 inches overall with a substantial 9-inch blade, this full-tang fixed blade is built from tough 1055 carbon steel, heat-treated for durability, and finished with a black baked-on protective coating. Weighing in at 18.5 ounces, it’s nearly twice as heavy as most entry-level throwers, offering superior momentum, straight flight, and deep penetration into targets. Whether you’re refining your throwing technique or pushing the limits of your skill, this knife delivers unmatched performance.
Inspired by classic throwing knives of the 1950s, the Sure Balance Thrower is engineered for accuracy and longevity. Its streamlined design features a narrow yet reinforced point that sinks deep into wood while resisting bending or breakage. This exceptional durability, combined with its well-balanced weight distribution, ensures a consistent and controlled release with every throw. Unlike lightweight alternatives that can deflect off a target or lack sufficient impact, the Sure Balance Thrower hits with force, making it a top choice for dedicated throwers seeking reliability and precision.
Built to endure years of hard use, the 1055 carbon steel construction is specially treated to withstand repeated impact, while the black baked-on finish offers additional protection against moisture and corrosion. This coating not only extends the life of the blade but also enhances its rugged aesthetic. Whether you're training in varied conditions or competing at a high level, this thrower is built to withstand the elements and the demands of frequent use.
