The CRKT Kalbi is a precision-built folder from the rugged Crossbones series, designed for those who demand a lightweight yet highly capable knife. With clean lines, smooth action, and a blade meant for serious cutting tasks, it’s a refined tool that doesn’t sacrifice toughness. Designed by Jeff Park, the Kalbi brings functional elegance to everyday carry.
The 3.28-inch skinner blade is crafted from Acuto 440 steel, a high-performance stainless known for its fine edge retention and corrosion resistance. A satin finish highlights the clean, sweeping blade profile, making it ideal for slicing tasks while maintaining a polished, work-ready look. The blade flipper, paired with the ultra-smooth IKBS ball-bearing pivot, delivers lightning-fast manual deployment, ensuring effortless, reliable one-handed operation.
The handle is as refined as it is functional. Textured blue aluminum scales keep the knife lightweight while providing a secure grip, making it comfortable for extended use. The black-coated Crossbones pivot and matching stainless steel backspacer add subtle contrast, reinforcing the knife’s durability while keeping the design sleek. A built-in lanyard slot offers carry flexibility, and the stainless steel pocket clip ensures a secure, deep-pocket carry. At just 4.02 inches closed and weighing a mere 2 ounces, the Kalbi disappears in the pocket yet feels substantial when in use.
