The Daily Carry Co Parachute 1911 Edition Gravity Knife brings classic American design language into a refined modern EDC package. Inspired by the unmistakable styling of the 1911 era, this compact gravity knife pairs an iconic clip-point blade with a contoured titanium handle, creating a distinctive blend of heritage character and contemporary performance.
At the heart of the Parachute 1911 Edition is an M390 stainless steel clip-point blade featuring dual fullers. The classic profile delivers a sharp, purposeful point and a strong belly while maintaining the unmistakable look that’s made the clip point a lasting American knife silhouette. The dual fullers add visual depth and help reduce unnecessary blade weight while maintaining rigidity. A sand-blasted finish complements the understated character of the knife and gives the blade a clean, utilitarian appearance.
The handle is machined from Grade 5 titanium and features canted finger grooves that give the Parachute its distinctive grip. The contoured profile is designed to sit naturally in the hand while providing positive retention during everyday handling. Its styling draws directly from classic mid-century American design without sacrificing the precision expected from a modern premium folder. At just 3.21 ounces, the Parachute carries comfortably without feeling insubstantial.
Deployment is handled through a gravity-assisted sliding mechanism, giving the knife a unique operating experience that sets it apart from conventional folding knives. A proprietary magnetic locking system secures the blade in place and is designed to provide a solid, blade-play-free lockup without relying on traditional springs or detents. The minimalist three-piece construction keeps the overall design clean, streamlined, and easy to appreciate.
Measuring 3.94 inches closed and 6.69 inches open, the Parachute 1911 Edition strikes a practical balance between compact carry and usable cutting length. Premium M390 steel, aerospace-grade Grade 5 titanium, a sand-blasted finish, and a distinctive gravity-assisted deployment make this a standout choice for collectors and EDC users who appreciate purposeful engineering with unmistakable American-inspired character.
