The Daily Carry Co. Parachute Pro Extra Large Gravity Knife brings serious materials, precision machining, and classic gravity-knife functionality together in a rugged package built for demanding everyday carry. With a Grade 5 titanium handle, CPM MagnaCut blade, and proprietary magnetic lock, it’s designed to deliver premium performance without unnecessary complexity.
At the heart of the Parachute Pro is a 3.2-inch CPM MagnaCut blade, giving you an exceptional combination of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. MagnaCut was engineered to minimize the compromises commonly associated with premium blade steels, making it an excellent choice for users who expect dependable cutting performance and long-term durability. The 81mm blade rides smoothly through the handle and provides a practical cutting edge for everyday tasks.
The handle is machined from solid Grade 5 titanium, an aerospace-grade material prized for its strength, low weight, and corrosion resistance. Measuring 4.5 inches long, the handle provides a substantial grip while keeping the overall knife at a manageable 5 ounces. Its titanium construction gives the Parachute Pro a distinctly premium feel while standing up to the demands of regular carry and hard use.
A proprietary magnetic locking system secures the blade with precision-tuned magnets rather than traditional springs or detents. This design is engineered to provide a secure lockup with minimal blade play while eliminating components that can fatigue over time. The result is a clean, straightforward mechanism that complements the knife’s precision-machined construction.
The Parachute Pro’s gravity-assisted slide deployment pays tribute to the original WWII-era gravity knife design. There are no springs or batteries involved; simply controlled movement, gravity, and carefully engineered machining. The smooth one-handed deployment gives this knife a distinctive character that’s as satisfying to operate as it is practical to carry.
With a 7.7-inch overall length, 3.2-inch MagnaCut blade, Grade 5 titanium handle, and proprietary magnetic lock, the Daily Carry Co. Parachute Pro Extra Large delivers a modern interpretation of a proven gravity-knife concept with premium materials throughout.
