This steel, sourced from one of the last surviving steel mills in the U.S., is renowned for its durability, offering up to twice the edge wear resistance of traditional steels like D2. The knife’s 3 1/8" blade is heat-treated in-house to achieve a Rockwell hardness of 61-62, ensuring maximum toughness, durability, and exceptional edge-holding capability.

The Outcast features a striking Arizona Copper blade finish, reminiscent of the fiery sunsets of the American Southwest. This low-reflectivity, food-safe finish makes the blade ideal for game processing and camp cooking. The 4 oz. knife (7.5 oz. including the sheath) is designed for ease of use and superior control, with a deep finger choil and thumb rests for a comfortable, secure grip.
