The Demko AD20.5 Stealth - Shark Foot - Artillery Gray Aluminum brings serious cutting performance and hard-use durability to a compact folding knife platform. Designed with Demko's distinctive Shark Lock mechanism, this folder delivers a rugged combination of premium materials, dependable lockup, and practical everyday carry performance.
At the heart of the AD20.5 is a 3.125-inch CPM 20CV stainless steel blade with a dark DLC finish. CPM 20CV is a premium stainless steel known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, making it a strong choice for a knife that's expected to handle demanding cutting chores. The DLC finish adds a hard, low-reflectivity surface while giving the blade a tactical appearance that pairs naturally with the Stealth designation. Its compact profile provides plenty of usable cutting edge without making the knife unnecessarily bulky in the pocket.
The blade opens smoothly through the thumb hole, giving you a straightforward and reliable method for deployment. Once open, the Shark Lock secures the blade in place with Demko's innovative locking system. The lock's distinctive rear-mounted actuator can be operated without placing your fingers directly in the blade's path, adding a practical layer of control when opening and closing the knife. It's a design that's become one of Demko's defining features and gives the AD20.5 a character all its own.
The handle is crafted from Artillery Gray aluminum, providing a strong and lightweight foundation with a clean, modern appearance. Aluminum keeps the overall weight to a manageable 4.5 ounces while offering the solid feel you'd expect from a hard-use folding knife. The Artillery Gray finish complements the DLC blade, creating a subdued color combination that's equally at home on the jobsite, in the workshop, or on an everyday carry rotation.
A tip-up pocket clip provides a secure and convenient carry option, keeping the knife readily accessible while maintaining a practical pocket profile. At 7.625 inches overall, the AD20.5 offers a useful balance between cutting capability and everyday portability.
Whether you're looking for a premium EDC folder, a dependable work knife, or a compact blade with an innovative locking system, the Demko AD20.5 Stealth delivers. With CPM 20CV steel, a DLC finish, Artillery Gray aluminum, and the proven Shark Lock, it's a serious folding knife with the performance to match its distinctive design.
