The Demko AD20 XXX 3V Clip Point Mk. III Folding Knife is built for those who demand serious strength, dependable cutting performance, and an unmistakable presence in their collection. As one of the largest knives in the Demko lineup, the AD20 XXX takes the flagship MG (machine ground) platform to another level with oversized proportions, a thick blade, and carefully engineered geometry. Finished with an OD green handle, this rugged folder combines a tactical appearance with the hard-use capabilities that make it stand out among heavy-duty folding knives.
At the center of this powerhouse is a 4-inch clip point blade crafted from CPM 3V tool steel. Renowned for its exceptional toughness and resistance to chipping, CPM 3V is well suited for demanding cutting applications where durability is essential. The versatile clip point profile provides a capable cutting edge and a defined tip for controlled work. With an impressive 0.25-inch blade stock thickness, this knife delivers substantial rigidity and strength for challenging tasks. Despite its massive construction, the AD20 XXX isn't simply oversized for the sake of appearance. Its carefully developed grind geometry helps maintain practical slicing performance, allowing the blade to handle tough materials while retaining the rugged character expected from a knife of this size.
Measuring 9.5 inches overall with a 5.5-inch handle, the AD20 XXX offers a commanding profile and plenty of room for a secure, confident grip. The OD green handle gives the knife a subdued, field-ready look that pairs naturally with its robust design. Weighing 9.5 ounces, it has the substantial feel of a serious working folder. While it won't disappear in your pocket, its size and construction make it an impressive option for users who prefer a larger knife with a solid, dependable feel.
Manufactured in the USA, the Demko AD20 XXX reflects a commitment to practical engineering and hard-use performance. Its combination of CPM 3V tool steel, a thick clip point blade, and an oversized folding design makes it a compelling choice for demanding outdoor cutting tasks and collectors who appreciate substantial, purpose-built knives. Whether you're adding a distinctive piece to your collection or looking for a rugged folder with plenty of presence, the AD20 XXX delivers a formidable blend of strength, versatility, and unmistakable Demko character.
