The Demko AD20 XXX 3V Clip Point Mk. III Folding Knife is built for those who demand serious strength, dependable performance, and an unmistakable presence in their collection. As one of the largest designs in the Demko lineup, the AD20 XXX takes the proven flagship AD20 platform to another level with a massive blade, rugged construction, and carefully engineered cutting geometry. Its bold orange handle adds a striking touch of color, making this powerhouse stand out whether it’s carried in the field or displayed in a collection.
At the heart of this formidable folder is a 4-inch clip point blade crafted from CPM 3V tool steel. Known for its exceptional toughness and resistance to chipping, CPM 3V is an excellent choice for demanding cutting applications where durability matters. The clip point profile provides a versatile cutting edge with a defined tip for controlled work, while the substantial 0.25-inch blade stock delivers impressive rigidity. Despite its considerable thickness, the blade's carefully designed grind geometry helps it maintain practical slicing performance. This thoughtful engineering allows the AD20 XXX to do more than simply look intimidating; it's built to put its size and strength to work.
Measuring 9.5 inches overall with a 5.5-inch handle, the AD20 XXX offers a commanding grip and substantial presence in hand. Its oversized proportions provide plenty of room for a secure hold, while the orange handle makes the knife easy to distinguish among other gear. Weighing 9.5 ounces, this folder has the heft expected from a heavy-duty design without sacrificing the convenience of a folding format. It's not intended to disappear unnoticed in your pocket, but rather to deliver substantial capability when a smaller knife won't cut it.
Manufactured in the USA, the Demko AD20 XXX reflects a practical approach to hard-use knife design. Its combination of tough CPM 3V steel, a thick clip point blade, and a robust overall build makes it an impressive option for demanding outdoor tasks, heavy-duty cutting, and collectors who appreciate oversized folders. Whether you're expanding a serious knife collection or looking for a substantial folding knife with a distinctive profile, the AD20 XXX brings together rugged engineering and unmistakable Demko character.
