The DMT 6" Bench Model Diamond Whetstone in Fine 600 Grit (Red) is a precision tool designed for those who take their edge maintenance seriously. Whether you're working in the shop, the kitchen, or out in the field, this compact and effective sharpener delivers fast, consistent results without the mess and hassle of traditional stones. Proudly made in the USA, it's built to deliver years of reliable service.
This whetstone features a durable monocrystalline diamond surface, engineered for efficiency and longevity. Unlike lesser abrasives, monocrystalline diamonds won’t break down or shed under pressure. That means you get a fast, clean cut every time, whether you’re sharpening a pocket knife, a chef’s blade, or a woodworking tool. The fine 600 grit is perfect for putting a refined edge on blades that are already in good shape or following up a coarser grit for a razor-sharp finish.
The surface includes DMT’s signature dot pattern, which traps metal particles during sharpening to prevent loading and ensure a cleaner, faster cut. This design innovation extends the life of the stone and keeps your sharpening process smooth and efficient. There’s no need for oil—just use water if desired, and you're ready to go.
The red plastic case isn’t just for storage. It features non-skid rubber feet to keep the stone secure during use, giving you stability and control on any flat surface. The 6" length offers plenty of working space for a variety of blade sizes while keeping the unit compact enough for easy storage in a drawer, toolbox, or backpack.
Whether you're touching up kitchen knives, tuning field gear, or keeping shop tools in peak condition, the DMT 6" Bench Whetstone is a tool you can trust. It’s low-maintenance, high-performance, and backed by American-made quality. Order it today from SMKW!
