The SIG Sauer Elite Performance .300 AAC Blackout Subsonic 220 Grain Open Tip Match ammunition is engineered for shooters who demand exceptional consistency, precision, and reliable performance from every round. Designed around a heavy Open Tip Match projectile, this premium subsonic load delivers the accuracy and dependable function needed for target shooting, training, and precision applications. Whether you're shooting from a compact AR-platform rifle or a precision bolt-action chambered in .300 Blackout, this ammunition is built to maximize the cartridge's unique capabilities.
Each cartridge is loaded with a 220-grain Open Tip Match bullet, a projectile specifically designed to provide outstanding accuracy and consistent flight characteristics. The streamlined profile and carefully engineered shape promote excellent ballistic efficiency, while the high G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.608 helps the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift over longer distances. Manufactured to match-grade standards, the projectile is optimized for precision rather than expansion, making it an outstanding choice for shooters focused on tight groups and repeatable performance.
With a muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second from a 9-inch test barrel, this load remains subsonic under normal conditions, making it ideal for rifles designed around the .300 AAC Blackout platform. The subsonic velocity produces a smooth, controllable shooting experience while delivering 488 foot-pounds of muzzle energy. The heavy 220-grain bullet carries excellent momentum and maintains stable flight, making it a favorite among precision shooters who value consistency and predictable trajectories.
Every cartridge is assembled using premium brass casings manufactured to precise tolerances for smooth chambering, dependable extraction, and long-term durability. The reloadable brass provides additional value for handloaders, while SIG Sauer's strict quality control standards ensure consistent ignition, uniform pressures, and reliable shot-to-shot performance. Every component is carefully selected to meet the high expectations of serious shooters.
Packaged in a convenient 20-round box, this ammunition is ideal for precision practice, zeroing optics, and extended range sessions. Whether you're refining your marksmanship, participating in competitive shooting, or simply enjoying the outstanding versatility of the .300 AAC Blackout cartridge, SIG Sauer Elite Performance ammunition delivers the quality and consistency needed for dependable results.
SIG Sauer has earned a reputation for manufacturing premium firearms and ammunition built to perform under demanding conditions, and the Elite Performance line continues that tradition. Combining a match-grade Open Tip Match projectile with premium brass cases and precision manufacturing, this .300 AAC Blackout Subsonic 220 Grain load provides the accuracy, reliability, and consistency serious shooters expect every time they pull the trigger.
