The Frost Chipaway 12" Sparrow Olive Wood is a rugged, full-size fixed-blade knife designed for hunters, outdoorsmen, campers, and anyone who appreciates the dependable simplicity of a traditional field knife. With its substantial drop point blade, full tang construction, and natural olive wood handle, the Sparrow combines practical performance with classic outdoor styling.
The 7.25-inch stainless steel drop point blade provides a versatile working edge that's well suited for a wide range of outdoor and utility tasks. The drop point profile offers a strong, controlled point while maintaining a substantial cutting edge, making it useful for camp chores, preparing game, cutting cordage, processing materials, and general field work. Its generous blade length provides plenty of usable cutting surface for jobs where a smaller knife may not be enough.
A satin finish gives the stainless steel blade a clean, professional appearance while maintaining the rugged character of the knife. The understated finish complements the natural olive wood handle and gives the Sparrow a traditional look that's equally at home in the hunting camp or outdoor gear collection. Stainless steel construction also provides practical resistance to corrosion, making the blade well suited for use in changing outdoor conditions.
Full tang construction gives the Sparrow a solid foundation from blade to handle. The steel extends through the handle, providing a strong and dependable structure designed to withstand demanding cutting chores. This construction gives the knife a substantial feel in the hand while providing the durability expected from a full-size fixed blade.
The handle is crafted from olive wood, bringing natural warmth and character to the knife. Its earthy coloring and distinctive wood grain create an attractive contrast against the satin-finished stainless steel blade. Olive wood also gives the Sparrow a traditional outdoorsman's appearance, making it a natural choice for those who appreciate knives built with genuine natural materials.
Measuring 12 inches overall, the Sparrow offers a substantial combination of blade length and comfortable handling. Its full-size design makes it a capable companion for hunting, camping, hiking, homesteading, and other outdoor activities where dependable cutting performance matters.
The knife includes a leather belt loop sheath for convenient carry and protection. The leather sheath complements the olive wood handle while providing a practical way to keep the blade secured and readily accessible. The belt loop allows the knife to ride comfortably as part of your outdoor gear, keeping it close when you need it.
The Frost Chipaway 12" Sparrow Olive Wood brings together a capable stainless steel drop point blade, rugged full tang construction, natural olive wood, and a traditional leather sheath for dependable field utility.
