The Gahagan Customs Alviss EDC is a lightweight, versatile fixed blade designed around everyday functionality, easy concealment, and dependable performance. With a 7.5-inch overall length and a 3.5-inch blade, the Alviss maintains a compact profile that's easy to carry without sacrificing the rugged construction you'd expect from a custom fixed blade. At just 3.19 ounces, it won't weigh down your everyday carry, making it an excellent choice for anyone who wants a capable fixed blade that's ready whenever it's needed.
The 80CRV2 blade measures .165 inches thick and features a versatile clip point/drop point hybrid shape that balances practical cutting performance with a distinctive profile. Its tumbled, parkerized finish is made to withstand the demands of day-to-day tasks while giving the blade a rugged, hard-working appearance. Whether you're handling everyday cutting chores, utility work, or outdoor tasks, the Alviss offers a compact blade that's easy to control and ready for the job.
The blue G-10 handle provides a secure, comfortable grip while keeping the Alviss lightweight and easy to maneuver. The unique handle scale features a slight fade throughout the material, giving each knife an individual appearance, with results varying from piece to piece. The durable G-10 construction adds dependable grip and control, while the compact fixed-blade design keeps the Alviss comfortable and practical for everyday carry.
A black Kydex retention sheath is included for secure carry and convenient access. The durable sheath helps protect the blade when it's not in use while maintaining the Alviss' streamlined, easy-to-conceal profile. The lightweight combination of knife and sheath makes this a practical option for EDC, outdoor carry, or anyone who prefers the reliability of a fixed blade in a compact package.
Gahagan Customs is built around the craftsmanship and experience of knifemaker Kyle Gahagan. Kyle developed his passion for knifemaking at an early age before serving with the 1st Ranger Battalion and completing tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. After his military service, he returned to knifemaking in the early 2000s, turning a garage hobby into a respected family business focused on rugged, dependable knives. Years of research, hands-on experience, and collaboration with accomplished bladesmiths have helped shape the distinctive style behind Gahagan Customs.
Kyle earned his ABS Journeyman Smith rating at the 2015 Blade Show in Atlanta and appeared on Forged in Fire in 2016. His work has also been featured in Blade Magazine and Knife Magazine. The Alviss reflects his commitment to practical design and hard-use performance, combining a lightweight profile, durable 80CRV2 steel, and a comfortable G-10 handle in a versatile everyday fixed blade.
