The Gahagan Customs Doug Marcaida Collab Stinger Limited Edition Fixed Blade brings together the craftsmanship of Kyle Gahagan and the vision of Doug Marcaida in a compact everyday carry knife inspired by the action-thriller comic book series Lineage. Designed with a sleek profile and balanced ergonomics, the Stinger delivers a distinctive combination of collectible appeal and practical functionality.
Measuring 7.5 inches overall with a 3.125-inch blade, the Stinger offers a compact footprint that's easy to carry while providing plenty of capability for everyday cutting tasks. The 80CRV2 steel blade measures .165-inch thick, giving this lightweight fixed blade a rugged foundation for daily use. At just 3 ounces, the Stinger is exceptionally easy to carry, making it a natural choice for EDC setups where keeping weight and bulk to a minimum matters.
The durable G-10 handle provides a secure, comfortable grip while complementing the knife's streamlined design. G-10 is well suited to everyday carry thanks to its combination of strength and low weight, helping the Stinger maintain its balanced feel in hand. The overall design reflects the precision and purpose associated with both Doug Marcaida and Kyle Gahagan while drawing its character from the world of Lineage.
Each Stinger includes a Kydex retention sheath for secure carry and convenient access. The sheath complements the knife's compact dimensions and helps make the Stinger an easy addition to an everyday carry or outdoor gear setup. Whether you're interested in the Lineage universe, collecting limited-edition collaborations, or simply appreciate a purpose-built fixed blade, the Stinger offers something distinctive.
The Stinger represents the meeting of two accomplished makers with different experiences and a shared appreciation for functional, well-crafted blades. Kyle Gahagan's passion for knifemaking began when he was just 10 years old and eventually developed into a professional craft. After serving with the 1st Ranger Battalion and completing two tours in Afghanistan and two in Iraq, Kyle returned to knifemaking and transformed his garage hobby into a family-sustaining business.
Kyle earned his ABS Journeyman Smith rating at the 2015 Blade Show in Atlanta and appeared on Forged in Fire in 2016. His work has been featured in Blade Magazine, Knife Magazine, and other publications. His dedication to practical craftsmanship is evident in knives designed around the needs of the person carrying them.
Forged from the world of Lineage and built for everyday carry, the Stinger is more than a compact fixed blade. It's a limited-edition collaboration that brings together distinctive design, lightweight construction, and the craftsmanship of Gahagan Customs.
