The GEO Knife Cirex by designer Fabian Hobbelen is built to deliver capable everyday performance in a lightweight, streamlined package. Designed with the outdoors, campsite, and daily carry in mind, the Cirex combines premium M390 stainless steel with a durable black G10 handle and lightweight titanium hardware. Its practical ergonomics provide a secure, intuitive grip, while the clean profile and 2.95-ounce weight make it an excellent choice for users who want serious cutting capability without unnecessary pocket weight.
The 3.5-inch clip point blade is crafted from Bohler M390 stainless steel, a high-performance powder metallurgy steel valued for excellent edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. Vacuum and cryogenic heat treatment brings the blade to an impressive HRC 60-62 hardness, helping it maintain a dependable working edge through repeated use. The flat grind provides a practical balance of slicing performance and blade strength, while the stonewashed finish gives the blade a rugged appearance that pairs naturally with the black handle. The clip point profile offers a useful combination of a precise tip and capable cutting edge, making it well suited for a variety of everyday utility tasks.
The 4.5-inch handle is constructed from G10, a lightweight and durable material that's well suited for everyday and outdoor use. Finished in black, the handle gives the Cirex a clean, understated appearance while providing a secure grip. At 0.48 inch thick, it offers substantial structure without becoming overly bulky. The ergonomic design helps keep the knife comfortable and controlled in hand, whether you're opening packages, handling campsite chores, or working through general cutting tasks.
A crossbar lock provides secure blade retention and smooth operation, while its ambidextrous design makes the Cirex convenient for both right- and left-handed users. Bronze washers support smooth blade movement, while the 6AL4V titanium clip, pivot cap, pivot collar, and screws add lightweight strength and premium detailing. The right-hand tip-up clip offers a secure, accessible carry position.
At 8.0 inches overall with a 3.5-inch blade, the Cirex provides plenty of cutting capability while maintaining an impressively low weight of just 2.95 ounces. That ultralight construction makes it especially well suited for everyday carry, where keeping pocket weight down can be just as important as having a capable blade ready when needed.
