The GiantMouse ACE Iona OD Green Tumbled FRN is a streamlined everyday carry folder that combines premium blade steel with a rugged, lightweight handle and practical pocket-friendly design. Designed with versatility and dependable performance in mind, the Iona offers a straightforward configuration that's well suited to daily cutting chores, outdoor tasks, and general utility use.
The 2.875" drop point blade is crafted from M390 stainless steel, a premium blade steel known for excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and overall cutting performance. The drop point profile provides a strong, controlled tip and a useful cutting edge, making it versatile for a wide range of everyday jobs. A tumbled finish gives the blade a subdued, rugged appearance while helping disguise the minor marks and wear that naturally come with regular use.
Thumb stud opening provides a familiar and controlled method of deploying the blade. The manual action keeps the operation simple and dependable, allowing you to open the knife without relying on assisted mechanisms or complicated hardware. Once deployed, the blade is secured by a linerlock, providing a proven locking system that helps keep the blade firmly in place during use.
The handle is constructed from OD green FRN, giving the Iona a rugged appearance while helping keep the overall design lightweight and easy to carry. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon, or FRN, is a durable handle material that's well suited to everyday use and outdoor environments. The OD green color adds a practical, field-ready look that pairs naturally with the tumbled blade.
A tip-up pocket clip provides a convenient carry option, allowing the knife to ride securely in a pocket while keeping it readily accessible. At 4" closed and 7" overall, the Iona offers a compact footprint without giving up useful blade length. Its streamlined dimensions make it a practical choice for everyday carry, whether you're handling routine cutting chores at work, around the house, or in the field.
The GiantMouse ACE Iona OD Green Tumbled FRN is a capable folder for anyone who appreciates premium materials without unnecessary bulk. From the high-performance M390 stainless steel blade to the durable OD green FRN handle, every component contributes to a practical and dependable everyday carry design. The tumbled blade finish and field-ready handle color give it a rugged character, while the drop point profile, thumb stud, linerlock, and tip-up clip keep the design focused on straightforward functionality.
