The Gränsfors American Felling Axe is a professional axe designed for working with cutting big timbers and taking them down in a hurry in the traditional way. The axe is perfect for felling very large trees, due to its long, broad edge facd of 4.5in. The axe is forged to a curved bit, constructed for cutting into fresh, resinous wood such as spruce or pine. The heavy head and long handle also add a great deal of power to cutting. This American Felling axe is almost twice as heavy as the Scandinavian Forest Axe. These axes are hand forged in Sweden.
