The Half Face Blades Disaster Folder in anodized black is a modern hard-use folder that embodies rugged reliability and sleek, tactical styling. Designed with precision craftsmanship and premium materials, this knife is built to deliver uncompromising performance in the field, at work, or as part of your daily carry setup. Every detail of the Disaster Folder reflects Half Face Blades’ commitment to making tools that can withstand serious use without sacrificing balance, control, or design.
The blade is a 3.5-inch CPM 3V stainless steel drop point, finished with a black Titanium Nitride coating. Known for its exceptional toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, CPM 3V is a top-tier choice for those who demand reliability from their blades. The nitride coating not only adds a deep black finish that resists wear and minimizes glare, but also boosts protection against scratches and the rigors of heavy cutting tasks. The thumb stud opening allows for quick and intuitive deployment, while the framelock mechanism ensures solid, dependable lockup.
The handle is crafted from anodized 7075-T6 aluminum, engineered for strength while remaining lightweight. Its dimpled grip texture provides enhanced traction, ensuring the knife stays firmly in hand even in wet or high-stress situations. The anodized black finish complements the nitride blade for a cohesive, tactical appearance that’s both understated and striking. The titanium deep carry pocket clip, hand-formed from 6AL-4V Grade 5 titanium, secures the knife discreetly and comfortably in pocket. Built with precision Torx-drive hardware, this folder is rugged enough for demanding environments yet streamlined for everyday use.
At 4.7 inches closed and 8.2 inches overall, the Disaster Folder delivers an ideal balance of portability and capability. Weighing just 4 ounces, it offers a solid tool in hand without feeling cumbersome in carry. The thoughtful design, premium steel, and durable handle construction make this folder equally at home as an everyday workhorse or a reliable backup for tactical situations.
The Half Face Blades Disaster Folder is more than a cutting tool—it’s a dependable companion for those who live and work in demanding conditions. Strong, sleek, and ready for anything, it’s built to deliver when you need it most.
