The Hinderer XM-18 3.5 is a rugged, American-made folding knife built around a proven hard-use design. This Non-Flipper Recurve configuration combines CPM MagnaCut steel, black G-10, and a distinctive Battle Bronze titanium lockside for a capable everyday carry with plenty of Hinderer attitude.
The 3.50-inch recurve blade is crafted from CPM MagnaCut, a premium stainless steel known for its excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The Non-Flipper Recurve grind gives the blade a distinctive profile and versatile cutting geometry, while its 0.165-inch thickness provides the substantial construction expected from an XM-18.
The blade features a Working Finish, giving it a rugged, utilitarian appearance that’s well suited to a knife designed for use. The titanium lockside measures 0.165 inches thick and features a Battle Bronze finish, adding a bold contrast to the black G-10 handle and Working Finish blade. Together, these finishes give the knife a purpose-driven appearance that doesn’t shy away from showing its hard-use character.
The black G-10 handle provides a secure, durable grip and measures 4.75 inches long. With an overall handle thickness of 0.540 inches, the XM-18 offers a substantial feel in hand while maintaining a practical profile for everyday carry. The 0.050-inch liner further contributes to the knife’s robust construction.
Hinderer’s Tri-Way Pivot System adds another level of versatility, allowing you to configure the pivot with bearings, phosphor bronze washers, or nylon washers. This gives you the flexibility to tune the knife’s action to your preferred feel and carry style.
At 8.25 inches overall and weighing 5.6 ounces, the XM-18 3.5 provides a solid combination of size, strength, and carryability. The Non-Flipper configuration keeps the profile clean and streamlined while preserving the rugged functionality that’s made the XM-18 a respected hard-use folder.
Made in the USA, the Hinderer XM-18 3.5 brings together CPM MagnaCut, black G-10, titanium, and contrasting Working Finish and Battle Bronze finishes. Whether it’s carried every day or put to work in the field, this XM-18 is built around materials and construction intended to handle demanding cutting tasks.
