Designed by Jim Bruhns of Bruhns Design, this configuration features a 2.8-inch CPM MagnaCut drop point blade with a stone tumbled finish. Heat treated to 62–64 HRC, the MagnaCut blade offers an outstanding balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, while the versatile drop point profile is well suited to a broad range of everyday cutting tasks.
The Saxum is built around a thrust bearing system that delivers remarkably fluid action with every deployment. Hogue's rock-solid push-button lock keeps the blade securely in place during use, while an anodized titanium thumbstud provides a confident point of contact for smooth, controlled opening. The black 6061-T6 aluminum frame provides a tough, lightweight foundation, complemented by distinctive G-Mascus Black G10 inserts. The layered G10 construction adds visual depth and texture while giving this Saxum its own unmistakable character. A deep-carry pocket clip supports convenient right-hand, tip-up carry.
