The Honey Badger Small Medium Tanto Crossbolt Folder combines a rugged, distinctive blade profile with the smooth, secure operation of Honey Badger’s advanced Crossbolt system. Built for strength, control, and versatility, this compact folder is fully ambidextrous and designed to deliver dependable performance for everyday carry.
The 2.95-inch Tanto blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and finished with a clean satin surface. Inspired by the short armor-piercing swords used by Samurai in feudal Japan, the Tanto replaces the curved belly of a traditional blade with angular edge transitions and a strong, prominent point. Its robust tip and reinforced profile make it well suited for piercing tougher materials, while the plain cutting edge provides clean, controlled cuts for everyday tasks. The 0.1-inch blade thickness adds durability without sacrificing the lightweight, pocket-friendly design.
Honey Badger’s Crossbolt locking mechanism brings smooth, effortless operation to this distinctive blade. Using an axis-lock-style design, the Crossbolt provides secure blade lockup while allowing easy operation from either side of the handle. The fully ambidextrous setup makes this folder equally comfortable for left- and right-handed users, giving you greater flexibility whether you’re carrying it as an everyday utility knife or keeping it ready for occasional heavier tasks.
The tan FRN handle provides a rugged combination of durability, lightweight performance, and dependable grip. Honey Badger’s raised honeycomb texture creates multidirectional traction across the handle, helping resist slipping even when your hands are wet or you’re wearing gloves. Ergonomic contours, handle slabs, a finger choil, and the blade spine provide natural contact points that help keep the knife comfortable and secure in your hand.
Weighing just 2 ounces, this Small Medium Tanto is easy to carry throughout the day. The 3.98-inch closed length and slim construction fit comfortably in your pocket, while the deep-carry pocket clip keeps the knife secure and discreet. The movable clip can be positioned for left- or right-hand carry, allowing you to configure the knife around your preferred carry style.
With a 6.9-inch overall length, satin 8Cr13MoV blade, durable FRN handle, and silver screws, this Honey Badger delivers a practical balance of strength and portability. Backed by a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, it’s built to provide reliable service wherever everyday tasks take you.
