The Kansept Reedus is a folding knife built for those who demand performance, reliability, and a touch of rugged elegance in their everyday carry. Designed by Dmitry Osarenko of D.O.C.K. Knives in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the Reedus stands as a clear expression of Osarenko's commitment to practical ergonomics, subtle character, and functional design. It's a knife that doesn't just look good—it works hard.
Crafted for utility, the Reedus features a 3.5-inch clip point blade made from 154CM stainless steel. This high-performance steel is known for its edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it well-suited for a variety of cutting tasks. The blade is finished with a black titanium nitride coating (TiCn) and stonewashed treatment, adding both scratch resistance and a subdued, tactical appearance. Whether you're slicing through rope, breaking down boxes, or handling outdoor tasks, this blade is ready to go.
Opening the Reedus is smooth and intuitive, thanks to its dual deployment system. Users can choose between a thumb hole or dual thumb studs, depending on preference or situation. The manual action offers precise control, while the liner lock ensures the blade stays secure during use. These features make the Reedus a practical tool whether you're out in the field or tackling jobs around the shop.
The handle scales are constructed from textured Grass Green G-10, providing a dependable grip even in wet or dirty conditions. G-10 is known for its strength-to-weight ratio, and here it adds both function and a bold, distinctive look. At 4.45 inches closed and weighing just over 4 ounces, the Reedus balances portability and substance, giving you a knife that feels solid without being bulky.
Additional features like the black-coated stainless steel pocket clip keep the knife easily accessible, while the overall build quality speaks to Kansept’s commitment to craftsmanship. The Reedus doesn’t chase trends—it delivers timeless functionality with modern enhancements, all in a package designed to be carried and used every day.
