The Kershaw Scour AO Folding Knife – Northern Pike combines rugged construction, practical cutting performance, and freshwater-inspired styling in a versatile everyday carry design. Inspired by the northern pike, a powerful freshwater predator, this folder brings an outdoors-ready look to a dependable knife built for everyday utility. Whether you're preparing gear at the campsite, handling routine cutting tasks, or spending a day near the water, the Scour delivers capable performance with distinctive character.
The 3.3-inch drop point blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a practical blade steel known for taking and holding an edge while remaining easy to resharpen. Its versatile drop point profile offers a useful balance of cutting control and tip strength, making it suitable for a variety of everyday jobs and outdoor chores. A stonewashed finish gives the blade a rugged appearance while helping disguise scratches and signs of regular use. Measuring 0.11 inches thick, the blade provides a substantial feel while maintaining the versatility expected from a dependable folding knife.
The stainless steel handle features a Northern Pike fish scale design applied using Kershaw's CCI image technology. This distinctive pattern adds a freshwater-inspired touch to the Scour, making it an appealing choice for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate gear that reflects their interests. The custom coating complements the knife's rugged profile while giving it a look that stands apart from traditional everyday carry folders. A lanyard hole offers an additional option for personalizing your carry setup.
For convenient access, the Scour features assisted opening with a flipper, helping deploy the blade quickly and smoothly when needed. Once open, the frame lock secures the blade in position during use. This combination of assisted opening and a straightforward locking mechanism provides practical functionality for users who value convenient operation in a reliable folding knife.
Measuring 7.75 inches overall and 4.45 inches when closed, the Kershaw Scour offers a substantial yet pocketable design. Its 4.6-ounce weight gives it a solid presence without sacrificing everyday carry convenience. The reversible deep-carry pocket clip accommodates both left- and right-handed users with tip-up carry, allowing you to configure the knife to suit your preferences while keeping it discreetly positioned in your pocket.
Released in 2026 as part of Kershaw Originals, the Scour Northern Pike blends practical materials, versatile blade geometry, and fishing-inspired design. From its stonewashed 8Cr13MoV blade to its custom-coated stainless steel handle, this folder is built to accompany everyday tasks and outdoor pursuits alike.
