The Knafs Lulu is a compact fixed blade built for serious outdoor use, combining American-made construction with premium materials and a rugged, practical design. Designed in Utah and manufactured in Michigan, the Lulu marks Knafs' first knife made entirely in the USA, with the brand taking its commitment to domestic production down to the smallest details.
At the heart of the Lulu is a 2.95-inch drop-point blade made from CPM MagnaCut, a high-performance stainless steel known for its excellent combination of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. This specific variant features a black PVD coating over the raw-finished MagnaCut steel, giving the blade a dark, durable appearance while adding another layer of protection. The raw steel beneath the coating is intentionally left without a conventional stonewash, satin, bead-blast, or polished finish.
The Scandi grind is purpose-built for outdoor work, making the Lulu particularly well suited for bushcrafting and other camp chores where controlled cutting performance matters. With a 34° inclusive grind angle, or 17° per side, the blade offers a practical edge geometry for working around camp and in the field. The blade measures .127 inches thick and is hardened to 62 HRC, giving this compact fixed blade the substance to handle demanding everyday tasks.
The handle combines layered green canvas Micarta with red G10, creating a rugged two-tone appearance while providing a substantial grip. At .85 inches thick, the handle fills the hand comfortably and gives you plenty of control when putting the Scandi-ground blade to work. The scales use flathead hardware and an open-source design, allowing owners to service the knife and even create their own custom scale configurations using the available CAD design.
Measuring 6.75 inches overall and weighing only 3.8 ounces, the Lulu offers a useful balance of compact size and capable construction. Its included sheath makes it easy to carry the knife into the field while keeping the blade protected and accessible when needed.
