Benchmade Infidel series knives with logo and title.

Since its introduction in 2006, the Benchmade Infidel has become one of the most respected out-the-front (OTF) automatic knives in modern production. Designed with input from McHenry & Williams, the Infidel brought Benchmade’s precision machining and tactical mindset to the world of double-action OTFs for the first time. With its aggressive styling, robust materials, and lightning-fast deployment, the Infidel quickly earned a reputation among military operators, law enforcement professionals, and dedicated collectors as a dependable tool in the field and a standout piece in any collection.

Released: 2006

The Benchmade Infidel (3300) remains one of the most iconic out-the-front automatic knives in production today. It features a 3.91-inch double-edged D2 tool steel dagger blade, hardened to 60-62 HRC, with either a satin or black Cerakote finish. Built for rapid, ambidextrous operation, its dual-action thumb slide mechanism deploys and retracts the blade with smooth authority. The black anodized handle, made from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, measures five inches closed and offers a secure, ergonomic grip. A gray PVD-coated deep carry clip and MOLLE-compatible Cordura sheath provide reliable carry options for tactical and field use. Weighing just under five ounces, the Infidel delivers powerful cutting performance in a balanced, easy-to-carry form factor.

Released: 2009

The Benchmade Mini Infidel (3350), released in 2009, offers the same tactical edge and high-performance engineering as the full-sized Infidel, but in a more compact and pocket-friendly format. Its 3.10-inch double-edged dagger blade is crafted from D2 tool steel, hardened to 60–62 HRC, and finished in either satin or black Cerakote for increased durability and corrosion resistance. Like its larger counterpart, the Mini Infidel utilizes a dual-action ambidextrous thumb slide for fast and reliable deployment. The handle, just under 4 inches closed, is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with black anodizing for enhanced strength and grip. At only 3.4 ounces, it’s lightweight yet dependable, with a deep-carry pocket clip and MOLLE-compatible sheath that make it suitable for both professional use and everyday carry.

Released: 2018
Discontinued: 2021

Introduced in 2018 as an extension of the Infidel lineup, the Benchmade Infidel Fixed Blade (133) offered users the signature Infidel design in a non-automatic, battle-ready platform. Built with the same aggressive styling and premium materials as its OTF counterparts, the fixed blade version was designed for those who preferred the uncompromising strength of a solid tang and the reliability of a non-mechanical system. Although it was discontinued in 2021, the Infidel Fixed Blade remains a sought-after piece for collectors and professionals who value performance-driven design.

The knife featured a 4.52-inch double-edged dagger blade crafted from D2 tool steel, hardened to 60–62 HRC. It was offered in both satin and black coated finishes, delivering high wear resistance and piercing capability. The handle was machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and shaped for ergonomic retention, with an overall length of 9.21 inches and a balanced feel in hand. At 5.11 ounces (7.62 ounces with the included Boltaron sheath), it was lightweight yet sturdy enough for tactical and utility roles. Made entirely in the USA, the Benchmade Infidel Fixed Blade bridged the gap between fighting knife and modern field tool, serving as a rugged alternative to its automatic predecessors while retaining the unmistakable Infidel DNA.
