New Knives of the Week: September 5th, 2025
Published: September 5th, 2025
This week’s new releases bring a tasty twist, modern strength, and sleek precision, with fresh arrivals from Case, Queen Cutlery, and Fox Knives. Case leads the way with a new SMKW exclusive, where dyed brown bone handles give a classic pattern a flavorful look that stands out in any collection. Queen follows up with a traditional slip joint updated in MagnaCut steel and camo G-10, balancing classic American heritage with modern-day performance, while Fox introduces refined automatics in anodized aluminum with integrated safety features. Together, these knives reflect how exclusivity, tradition, and innovation continue to define today’s cutlery world.
Case
SMKW Exclusive PB&J RussLock
The Case XX SMKW Exclusive PB&J RussLock takes a classic Case pattern and gives it a flavorful twist. Measuring 4.25 inches closed and weighing 2.6 ounces, it’s sized for pocket carry yet built with the strength and reliability expected from the RussLock design. The 2.67-inch clip point blade is made from mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel, offering dependable performance and edge retention, and it opens smoothly with the extended tang that defines this pattern. A polished stainless steel linerlock keeps the blade secure during use, making it a dependable everyday companion. The handle is what sets this knife apart, though, with jigged brown bone dyed deep purple to create the unmistakable look of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It’s a playful look on a traditional design, and is complemented by nickel silver bolsters, pins, and an inlaid Case shield, all reinforced by brass liners. Proudly made in the USA.
Queen Cutlery USA
Camo G-10 Trapper
The Queen Cutlery U.S.A. Camo G10 Trapper blends a timeless slip joint design with modern materials and steel. Its 3.25-inch blade is crafted from CPM MagnaCut, a high-performance stainless steel known for its edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it equally capable for everyday use or outdoor work. The blade opens with a classic nail nick and is held in place by a slip joint mechanism that relies on spring tension rather than a lock. The 4.25-inch handle is built from camo-patterned G-10, a durable and lightweight composite that provides both strength and a secure grip. Measuring 7.5 inches overall when open, this trapper carries comfortably while maintaining the heritage of one of America’s most trusted knife patterns. Proudly made in the USA.

A black 420 stainless steel pocket clip ensures the knife rides securely when carried, and a nylon sheath is provided for added storage.
