SHOP CASE KNIVESLeupold Mark 4 rings are built for shooters who demand unwavering integrity and tight tolerances from their mounting system. Their proven cross-slot design locks firmly into place and mates seamlessly with Leupold PRW bases or any Picatinny-style rail, giving you the confidence that your optic will stay put when recoil and rough conditions start pushing back. Every Leupold mount is engineered with the same rugged dependability as the optics they're made to secure, and the broad range of mounting options ensures you can match your firearm and shooting style without compromise.
Standard 6-48 screws simply aren’t ideal for large rifle scopes on heavy-recoiling firearms, as the added weight and force can overstress the smaller hardware and lead to failure. Leupold’s Mark 4 8-40 Adaptable Mount solves that problem with more robust 8-40 screws that increase overall mount strength by 41 percent. Its smart design accepts both the thicker 8-40 screw and a modified 6-48 shoulder screw, letting you run the mount on rifles already drilled for 6-48 threads or upgrade to 8-40 for maximum durability. These bases fit a range of factory 8-40 rifles, including Winchester PBR, Remington Super Magnum, and HS Precision models, though some firearms may require additional evaluation.
This one-piece Mark 4 base is built from 6061-T6 aluminum, features a 20-MOA slope for long-range shooting, includes two 8-40 screws, wears a matte black finish, and is proudly made in the USA.
