Lishen Knives is a custom knifemaker based in Bristol, Tennessee, where Cass and Christian Lishen produce outdoor fixed blades and kitchen cutlery in small batches by hand. Their work blends traditional blade styles with thoughtful modern refinement, creating knives that feel familiar while offering a distinctive character of their own. Christian often takes classic patterns and reworks them with subtle design updates that improve handling and visual appeal. Each knife is carefully handcrafted with close attention to detail, resulting in American-made blades that look exceptional, feel great in the hand, and are built to perform.

The Little Holston features a 2.5-inch drop point blade crafted from AEB-L high-purity stainless steel. Known for its fine grain structure and excellent edge stability, AEB-L takes an extremely sharp edge and maintains it through repeated cutting tasks. The drop point profile provides a strong, controllable tip with plenty of belly for slicing, making it a versatile choice for everyday carry, camp use, and general outdoor work.

Full tang construction provides strength and balance throughout the knife. The handle is crafted from Desert Ironwood, a dense and highly prized hardwood known for its rich coloration and striking natural grain patterns. This durable wood has long been favored for fine cutlery thanks to its natural oils and resistance to moisture, while also offering a smooth, comfortable feel in the hand. At 5.5 inches overall, the Little Holston remains compact enough for easy carry while still offering a secure and confident grip during extended cutting tasks.
