The Lishen Knives Northern Scalpel is a compact, precision-driven fixed blade built in Bristol, Tennessee by a small handmade shop that does everything in-house. At the center of the Northern Scalpel is a 1.9-inch drop point blade made from AEB-L stainless steel. This steel is widely respected for its fine grain structure, excellent toughness, and ease of sharpening, making it especially well-suited for a compact precision blade. The .09-inch blade thickness keeps it slim and controlled, allowing for fine, deliberate cutting work without feeling fragile. The drop point profile adds versatility, giving a strong, stable tip and a smooth edge that handles detail tasks with confidence and control.
The full tang construction runs through the entire knife, providing strength and balance in a streamlined 6.25-inch overall package.
