Beautiful trapper knife.
I bought this, because I truly have an addiction for knife collecting. But I collect on a budget, so I always appreciate the selections SMKW offers in the under 20 dollar range. When I get one for under 20 and it looks and feels like a more expensive knife, I am very happy. The exhibition grade knives come with very attractive packaging which makes it great for gift giving. It truly looks like they cost more than what they did. On my knife I saw no flaws at all. The blades were both nicely done and very sharp. Scales, color and texture, were very pleasing and it's a great pocket knife. I shop the sales and was very happy with the knife for under 20. I would recommend it to anyone. I know many complain about the made in China thing, but from my standpoint the knives coming out of china in the last couple of decades have improved by leaps and bounds! I have especially been impressed with everything I have purchased from the Marble's and Rough Ryder lines. if this bothers you, then spend 3-5 times the price and buy a Case brand. I enjoy collecting on a budget and this price range allows me to buy 5-7 pocket knives for the same price as one other. As long as they are sharp and useable and look good...which these do....I am happy. I do own more expensive American made knives and I like them, but I have only good things to say about the Marble's pocket knives I have purchased.
