Built for uncompromising performance and bold tactical presence, the Microtech DOC Killswitch delivers the strength and precision expected from a collaboration between two legendary knife makers. This out-the-side automatic deploys instantly with a push of the button, launching the blade into action and locking it firmly in place. The mechanism is fast, authoritative, and built to perform when speed and reliability matter most.
The 3.75" drop point blade is crafted from premium steel and finished with a durable black coating that adds corrosion resistance while giving the knife a stealthy, low-profile appearance. Its plain edge offers smooth, uninterrupted cutting performance, making it ideal for controlled slicing, utility work, and everyday carry tasks. The drop point profile provides excellent tip strength and precision, delivering a balanced blade shape that handles a wide variety of cutting needs with confidence.
The DOC, short for Death on Contact, was born from a collaboration between Anthony Marfione and Mick Strider, two designers known for building knives that combine rugged function with unmistakable style. This automatic version carries the name Killswitch, a reference to its distinctive fire-safe selector built directly into the design. Much like a rifle safety, the switch flips between white for safe and red for fire, giving the knife a unique tactical character while providing an added layer of control.
The handle is machined from textured black aircraft-grade aluminum, offering outstanding durability and a secure grip even in demanding conditions. The aggressive texturing helps keep the knife firmly in hand during use, while a built-in lanyard hole adds another carry option. Measuring 5.25" closed and weighing 6.8 ounces, the DOC Killswitch has a solid, substantial feel without sacrificing pocket carry practicality.
Proudly made in the USA, this knife reflects Microtech’s commitment to precision manufacturing, premium materials, and serious hard-use performance.
