The Microtech Exocet II Spartan OTF Auto brings Microtech’s signature automatic OTF functionality into a compact, purpose-driven everyday carry design. Built for users who want a capable cutting tool without the bulk of a traditional folder, the Exocet combines a slim profile, lightweight construction, and distinctive styling with the added utility of an integrated money clip. At just 5.69 inches overall, it’s sized to ride comfortably in a pocket while remaining ready for quick access when needed.
The 2.34-inch blade is crafted from premium M390MK steel and features Microtech’s Apocalyptic finish. This distinctive treatment gives the blade a rugged, weathered appearance that complements the knife’s black 6061-T6 aluminum handle. M390MK provides a high-performance foundation for everyday cutting, while the compact blade length keeps the Exocet streamlined and easy to carry.
As a double-action OTF automatic, the Exocet allows the blade to deploy and retract with the push and pull of the integrated actuator. This makes one-handed operation straightforward while giving the knife the quick-access functionality Microtech OTF users have come to expect. The compact dimensions make it particularly well suited for everyday carry when space is limited but you still want a dedicated cutting tool close at hand.
The black 6061-T6 aluminum handle provides a durable yet lightweight foundation for the Exocet II Spartan. Its dark finish pairs naturally with the Apocalyptic blade, creating a subdued, rugged appearance. The aluminum construction also helps keep the overall package slim and lightweight, making it easy to incorporate into an everyday carry setup.
One of the Exocet’s defining features is its integrated money clip. This clever addition allows the knife to pull double duty, giving you a convenient way to carry cash while keeping a functional OTF automatic close at hand. Rather than adding unnecessary bulk to your pocket, the Exocet combines two useful everyday items into one compact platform.
The Microtech Exocet II Spartan is an ideal choice for those who appreciate practical innovation and distinctive Microtech engineering. Its compact 5.69-inch overall length, 2.34-inch M390MK blade, black 6061-T6 aluminum handle, and Apocalyptic finish create a streamlined package with plenty of character.
