The Microtech Hera II Mini is a testament to precision engineering and high-performance craftsmanship, delivering a compact yet formidable out-the-front automatic knife. Building on the success of the original Hera, this scaled-down version retains the sleek design and premium materials while incorporating significant refinements for enhanced usability.
At the core of the Hera II Mini is its 3.0-inch double-edge dagger blade, crafted from Bohler M390MK stainless steel. This high-performance steel ensures razor-sharp cutting power, superior edge retention, and outstanding corrosion resistance. The blade features an apocalyptic finish, giving it a rugged, battle-worn aesthetic that’s as tough as the conditions it’s built to endure.
Microtech’s proprietary Dual Fuel Drivetrain sets the Hera II Mini apart, delivering ultra-smooth dual-action deployment. The refined mechanism allows for rapid, reliable blade deployment with a simple thumb slide, ensuring seamless performance whether in high-stakes situations or everyday tasks. A precision-engineered button pocket reduces friction and facilitates debris displacement, keeping the action crisp and consistent over time.
Crafted from anodized OD green aircraft-grade aluminum, the handle is both lightweight and incredibly durable. The streamlined chassis features internal screws, eliminating external hardware for a cleaner look and improved ergonomics. This design not only enhances the knife’s aesthetic appeal but also ensures a secure, comfortable grip.
A redesigned titanium pocket clip with an integrated glass breaker adds to the Hera II Mini’s versatility. Featuring Microtech’s signature ceramic glider ball, the clip allows for effortless pocket carry without excessive wear on clothing. For those who prefer alternative carry options, the integrated lanyard hole provides added flexibility.
Weighing just 1.9 ounces and measuring 3.95 inches closed, the Hera II Mini is built for those who demand top-tier performance in a compact, easy-to-carry form. Proudly made in the USA, it embodies Microtech’s unwavering dedication to quality, precision, and innovative design.
