The Microtech Hera II Mini S/E Apocalyptic Standard Purple delivers premium performance, precision engineering, and bold styling in a compact automatic knife designed for everyday carry. Proudly made in the USA, this high-quality folder reflects Microtech’s commitment to craftsmanship, dependable operation, and attention to detail. Its combination of a rugged apocalyptic-finished blade and a striking purple aluminum handle gives it a distinctive appearance that stands out in any collection.
At the heart of the Hera II Mini is a 2.9-inch M390MK stainless steel drop point blade. Known for its excellent edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, M390MK steel offers the performance expected from a premium everyday carry knife. The drop point profile provides a versatile cutting edge with a strong, practical tip, making it suitable for a variety of routine cutting tasks. Its apocalyptic finish adds a rugged, weathered appearance that complements the knife’s tactical character while giving the blade a distinctive look.
The dual-action thumb slide provides convenient operation, allowing the blade to deploy and retract through the knife’s automatic mechanism. This intuitive control keeps operation straightforward while maintaining the sleek, streamlined design that Microtech enthusiasts appreciate. The mechanism is engineered to deliver the responsive action expected from a precision-made automatic folder, making the Hera II Mini an appealing choice for collectors and experienced everyday carry users alike.
The handle is crafted from anodized purple aluminum, providing a durable, lightweight foundation with a vibrant finish. Its rich purple color creates a striking contrast against the apocalyptic blade, giving this knife a balance of aggressive styling and refined presentation. Aluminum construction helps keep the overall weight down without sacrificing the solid feel expected from a premium knife. A tip-down pocket clip provides a convenient carrying option, helping keep the knife accessible when it's time to put it to use.
Measuring 5.9 inches overall and weighing just 1.9 ounces, the Hera II Mini offers an impressive combination of compact dimensions and lightweight portability. Its manageable size makes it an attractive option for those who appreciate premium knives without the added bulk of a larger folder. Whether you're expanding a Microtech collection or looking for a distinctive everyday carry piece, this knife delivers recognizable styling and quality construction in a streamlined package.
Proudly made in the USA, the Microtech Hera II Mini S/E Apocalyptic Standard Purple represents American knife-making craftsmanship with premium materials, precise engineering, and unmistakable character.
